Kyle Hendricks Throws First Bullpen Session
Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) threw his first bullpen session on Monday since getting injured last July. Hendricks was able to air it out on Monday and said afterwards that he was feeling great. Despite the positive session, he is about a month behind and is expected to open the year on the injured list. The 33-year-old right-hander isn't expected to make any Cactus League starts in spring training. Barring any setbacks, Hendricks seems likely to miss around the first month of the 2023 regular season. Fantasy managers in mixed leagues should leave him to the waiver wire to begin the year.
