Kolten Wong Out Tuesday, Could Rejoin Lineup Wednesday
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (calf) is out of the starting lineup again on Tuesday, but manager Craig Counsell said the team is quite certain that Wong will avoid a trip to the injured list. No decision has been made as to whether Wong will have a chance to play on Wednesday. It's the second baseman's third straight missed game, but it looks like he won't be out for much longer. Jace Peterson is at the keystone again and is batting sixth against Chicago Cubs right-hander Zach Davies. Peterson has exactly two home runs apiece in each of the last three seasons and is batting .239/.365/.380 with nine RBI and three stolen bases in 30 games for the Brew Crew this year. He's a low-upside DFS dart throw on Tuesday.
