Kike Hernandez Not In Starting Lineup Friday
Kike Hernandez is not in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup with the Yankees. Hernandez has struggled at the plate recently, as he is 3-for-29 with six strikeouts over his last eight games, and has not had an extra-base hit since May 19. He's slashing .228/.284/.383 over 43 games this season, and his Statcast metrics don't offer much hope for fantasy managers as he also owns a .220 xBA and .395 xSLG. With Hernandez out, Danny Santana will get the start for the second night in a row in center field.
