Kevin Stefanski Unsure If He'll Call Offensive Plays
4 years agoCleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said this week that he will wait to let the offensive play-calling decision play out during the preseason, whether it's him making the calls or offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt. Stefanski also has reason to believe that the players are ready to hit the ground running in July for training camp after virtual offseason meetings this year. The Browns might have a good problem on their hands with figuring out how to balance touches for running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry and tight end Austin Hooper. While the Browns offense was a disappointment in 2019 behind a terrible offensive line, quarterback Baker Mayfield and company are expected to make strides this year in what should be an offense featuring many two-tight end looks.
