You’d figure that with two games and a long day, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar would tire and see his hitting streak come to an end, right? Wrong. Pillar had himself yet another productive day, finishing 2-for-6 with a run scored, RBI and a walk in the first game of the twin bill, and completed the evening with a 1-for-4 effort in the night cap. Pillar’s hitting streak is now at nine games, tying his season-high hitting streak that he set form April 7 to April 18. If Pillar isn’t owned in your league, you should be doing something about that before another owner does.--John Smith
