After being eliminated from the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, Kevin Harvick makes his final start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday, a track where he has won twice, but don't expect much from him. Not only have the Fords in general and the Stewart-Haas cars in particular been slow on intermediate tracks, but Harvick seems to be looking forward to retirement at this point and is not expending the effort to overcome the speed deficit of his cars as he did previously. In the last nine races, Harvick's speed percentile of 56.54% has been significantly slower than his season mark of 62.30%. Over that time period, Chris Buescher overtook him to be the fastest Ford driver while Harvick has had only one top ten on an unrestricted track. Couple that with his 24th-place starting position and Harvick will likely have another mediocre run on Sunday.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
