Kenny Atkinson Agrees To Become Hornets New Coach
3 years agoGolden State Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson has agreed to a four-year deal to serve as the head coach of the Hornets. The 55-year-old is known for his tenure at the helm in Brooklyn, where he led the team to a 118-190 record throughout four seasons before stepping down in 2020. Atkinson is widely considered one of the best at developing players, so the hiring could mean good things for LaMelo Ball, Kelly Oubre Jr., Terry Rozier, and Miles Bridges, assuming he remains in Charlotte moving ahead.
