7 months agoFlorida Panthers defenseman Keith Yandle made history Thursday night against his former team Arizona, finishing a 4-2 win with one assist to establish a new single-season franchise record for points by a defenseman. Yandle is sitting on 58 points through 74 games. The experienced d-man has already posted a new career high in assists with 49 and he's set to break his points record (59) as well. As a Boston-native, Yandle gets a very special matchup against the Bruins next on Saturday. He has produced four points in two games this season against his hometown team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
