Kameron Johnson Lined Up for Larger Role?
Kameron Johnson led the Bucs with 64 receiving yards by catching all four of his targets in Week 6, and he could be a big part of the team's passing game in Week 7 as well after Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) was forced to leave that game with an injury after Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin Jr. (fibula), and Jalen McMillan (neck) were all out already. Johnson is a second-year receiver that the Bucs signed as an undrafted free agent before last year. He played in five games and had just one target all of last year, and he hadn't had a target before Sunday's big game against the 49ers. His role is uncertain moving forward, but with so many injury issues in Tampa Bay and an effective passing offense, Johnson does bring potential upside in the short term.
