2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) will not practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Daboll said that Toney has hamstring "soreness." Sterling Shepard will also sit out of practice, but it's just rep management heading into Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Toney has been a huge disappointment through two weeks of play, catching just two of three targets for zero yards. The good news is that he played 38 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 2 after playing just 12 percent of the snaps in the season opener. The 23-year-old second-year wideout has already been dropped in a lot of fantasy leagues and is now only rostered in 38 percent of Yahoo leagues.
