Justin Upton Finishing Up Strong
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton will try and wrap up a strong month of September against the Dodgers in the team's final series of the season. It was a disastrous start to the season for the veteran slugger, going 11-for-80 (.137) in his first 23 games this season. But Upton has bounced back in September, slashing .300/.391/.567 with four doubles, four home runs and 11 runs batted in over his last 17 games. The 33-year-old came into the season with a lot to prove after 2019 was wiped out from injuries. It is encouraging to see he still has some pop in his bat and hopefully can carry this over to the offseason as Upton prepares to be productive in 2021.
