Justin Herbert Listed As Day-To-Day
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (ribs) is "day-to-day," according to head coach Brandon Staley. Herbert did some throwing on Tuesday and also some "rotational" work. He'll take part in individual drills on Wednesday, according to Staley. According to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry, Herbert will be wearing a rib protector after injuring rib cartilage in the Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The fact that the 24-year-old is already limited in practice this week is a good sign that he'll be able to play in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Through two games, Herbert has thrown for 613 yards, six touchdowns and a pick on 82 attempts. If he's active this Sunday, he's a must-start, high-end QB1.
