Justin Fields Has Struggled In His Rookie Season
3 years agoChicago Bears first-round rookie quarterback Justin Fields, who was drafted 11th overall, has the lowest passer rating (61.8) of any current starter heading into Week 8. He's also been sacked a league-high 22 times, has thrown six interceptions to two touchdowns and is completing just 57.3% of his 131 pass attempts. Chicago's shoddy offensive line play hasn't helped the rookie's cause in his first year, and the Bears are trying to run the football as much as they can to take pressure off of Fields. We don't expect Fields to suddenly light things up this weekend against a strong San Francisco 49ers defense, making him only an option in leagues where you can start two signal-callers.
