Julio Jones Out For Rest Of Monday Night Game
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) has been ruled out for the game after aggravating his hamstring injury on Monday night against the Packers. Jones was dragged down awkwardly on a play in the first half and was in pain on the sidelines. He didn't return to the field after halftime and was ruled out. Calvin Ridley, Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus should operate in three-receiver sets the rest of the way. The Falcons could just be playing it cautious with their All-Pro receiver with the Falcons facing a large deficit entering the second half, but Jones missed last week with the injury and could be in danger of missing Week 5 against the Panthers. He caught all four of his targets for 32 yards in the first half. Gage, who had over 100 yards in the season-opener, could be a high-priority waiver addition if Jones is forced to miss more time.
