Josh Allen Improved On Deep Passes Last Year
4 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen improved his deep passing numbers last year with the help of wide receiver Stefon Diggs, finishing with the second-most deep completions to wide open receivers (10). Allen went from a -10.1 percent completion percentage over expectation in 2019 to +7.1 percent in 2020, the second-largest jump in the league behind Daniel Jones. The 25-year-old also led the NFL in deep completions while on the run with eight. Buffalo's franchise signal-caller took the next step last year, and the addition of Diggs certainly helped his cause. Allen finished as the overall QB1 for fantasy managers last year, finishing with 4,544 passing yards, a 69 percent completion rate, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also added eight rushing scores. Allen is a no-brainer top-five fantasy QB.
