Jose Urquidy Earns Fourth Win Of Season
4 years agoHouston Astros starter Jose Urquidy allowed only one run through six innings pitched as the Astros took down the Red Sox 11-2 on Monday. Urquidy (4-2) held a potent Red Sox lineup to only three hits while punching out nine hitters. The right-handed starter has been lights-out over his last four starts, posting a sparkling 0.68 WHIP with a 1.14 ERA during that span. Pitch counts have hampered Urquidy from pitching deep into games at times but he will head into his next start with a 0.99 WHIP and a 3.02 ERA through 50 2/3 innings pitched this season.
