Jose Siri On The Bench For Game 2
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Jose Siri finds himself on the bench for Game 2 of the wild-card series against the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. Josh Lowe enters the starting lineup in right field and will bat cleanup against Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi, while Manuel Margot is patrolling center field and batting in the six-hole. Siri is coming off a fractured hand that put him on the injured list in September, and he was 0-for-3 in the Game 1 loss to Texas on Tuesday. Margot has two singles and a strikeout in his seven career at-bats against Eovaldi. The 29-year-old Dominican provided very modest numbers for fantasy managers in 2023 with a .264 average (82-for-311) with just four home runs, 38 RBI, nine stolen bases and 39 runs scored.
