Jose Altuve Hits For The Cycle
1 year agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve hit for the cycle in Monday's 13-5 blowout win over the Boston Red Sox. Altuve finished his night 4-for-6 with four RBI, six runs scored and a strikeout in the impressive offensive showing to raise his season average to .322 with a .944 OPS. Injuries have mainly been the story for the former MVP and eight-time All-Star this year, but when he's been on the field for the Astros, he's been his usual awesome self. Coming into Monday's contest, he was slashing .314/.409/.500 with a .909 OPS, nine home runs, 15 doubles, a triple, 30 RBI, 13 stolen bases and 52 runs scored in 276 trips to the plate over 61 games. Continue to start him on a daily basis in fantasy lineups.
