Jordan Wilkins Not A Lock To Make Team
4 years agoIt's not a lock that Indianapolis Colts running back Jordan Wilkins will make the team as the fourth running back behind Marlon Mack, rookie Jonathan Taylor and third-down back Nyheim Hines. The Colts hardly ever use a fourth running back, and the skill group is accounting for another body with the signing of fullback Roosevelt Nix, who they envision having a routine offensive role. Wilkins has been a special teams contributor in his two NFL seasons, so that may be the only thing keeping him on the roster this year. He might be one injury away from having a role offensively, but he'll need to lock down a presence on special teams in order to secure a 53-man roster spot. Needless to say, Wilkins shouldn't be drafted in most fantasy leagues.
