Jordan Thomas Turning Heads At Camp
6 years agoHouston Texans rookie wide receiver Jordan Thomas, who towers at 6-foot-5, 280 pounds, has looked good so far in training camp. He's extremely athletic despite his size and can run the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds. He was converted from wide receiver and caught 22 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns in his last year in college. "He’s really, the first few days here, he’s actually done a decent job blocking relative to being a young player – better than I thought he would do. I think if he can keep improving in that area, he’s good in the passing game, I really like what we’ve got there," head coach Bill O'Brien said. Thomas has the physical skills but lacks experience, so it'd be a surprise if he carved out a big fantasy role in 2018. He's more of a project for the Texans. Keep his name in mind in dynasty leagues, however.
