Jordan Reed Considered Retirement
Jordan Reed admitted that he considered retirement before signing with the team earlier this month. A part of his reason to join the Niners was the desire to reach the Super Bowl and play in the big game. The talented tight end has dealt with many injuries throughout his six-year NFL career, including not playing at all in 2019 with Washington due to a concussion. When able to play close to a full season, Reed has shown incredible potential, as evidence of his 2015 season with Washington where he accumulated 87 receptions, 114 targets, 952 yards, and 11 touchdowns. The 30-year-old will play a backup role to George Kittle this season.
