"It is what it is." That's what Erik Jones had to say after the season-opening Daytona 500, where he got caught up in an early wreck and was relegated to a 37th-place finish. The good news for Jones is that we're on to race number two of the year and it is at one of his best tracks on the schedule. Over five career starts at Auto Club Speedway, Erik Jones has never finished worse than 18th and has collected three top 10s along the way. His average finish of 10.2 at this track ranks 2nd-best among active drivers. Despite the poor start to the season, Jones has a great chance to bounce back in this weekend's Pala Casino 400.--Jordan McAbeeRead More News
