Two-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jonathan Allen was visiting with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Washington Commanders gave Allen permission to seek a trade before eventually releasing him last Friday after eight years in D.C. The 30-year-old veteran pass-rusher had only three sacks in eight regular-season games (seven starts) in his final year in Washington, but he shouldn't be without a home for much longer this offseason. The Vikings could use some extra help in the pass-rush department, even if Allen is more of a situational defensive tackle at this point in his career. He was the 17th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft out of Alabama and has plenty of experience with 401 tackles (242 solo), 42 sacks, 60 tackles for loss, 118 QB hits, an interception, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 109 games (108 starts).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
