New York Mets starting pitching prospect Jonah Tong logged another quality start on Wednesday when he tossed six innings of one-run ball. He allowed just three hits, no walks, and struck out seven. Since moving up to High-A Brooklyn on May 2, Tong has performed very well with a 2.85 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 23:70 BB:K ratio across 53 ⅔ frames. The former 2022 seventh-round pick began the season at Single-A and tossed 18 consecutive shutout frames there. The 21-year-old has taken a significant step forward this season and has climbed up many prospect ranking lists. Tong is currently considered the 20th-best prospect in the Mets system on MLB.com, and he remains on track to meet his 2026 major league ETA.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
