3 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco, who was acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles this week, is likely to be inactive in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to head coach Robert Saleh. As a result, Josh Johnson will be active as the backup to Mike White with rookie first-rounder Zach Wilson (knee) out two to four weeks. The Jets have faith in White to run the offense with Wilson sidelined, but that tune could change quickly if he struggles in his first career start against Cincinnati. The 36-year-old Flacco isn't guaranteed to start with Wilson out, and even if he did, he'd merely be an emergency low-end QB2 for those in superflex leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
