Joaquin Niemann Looks To Stay Hot In Vegas
4 years agoJoaquin Niemann is set to play in the upcoming CJ Cup at Shadow Creek. Niemann comes in fresh off a solid T13 performance in last week's Shriners Hospitals For Children Open. It was the youngster's third top-25 result in his last four starts. His sharp ball-striking ability should give him a leg up on the field this week on a Shadow Creek course that's expected to be difficult. The concern with Niemann is his shaky putting, though there's been some recent improvement in that area, as he's gained strokes on the greens in each of his last two starts. His legitimate tournament-winning upside makes him one of the most intriguing value plays on the slate.
