Jett Williams Extends Hitting Streak to Six Games
Jett Williams went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI during Sunday's contest against Double-A Hartford. This outing extended Williams' hitting streak to an impressive six games. During this stretch, the top prospect in the New York system has posted a strong .364/.462/.727 slash line with two doubles, two home runs, and one stolen base. Williams was only able to appear in 33 games in the minor leagues last season, but has been able to start the 2025 campaign well. Through his first 33 games of the Double-A regular season, the Rockwall-Heath HS product has held a .291/.385/.513 slash line with 10 doubles, four home runs, and eight stolen bases. Given the time he missed last season, Williams should contend for a Triple-A promotion in the second half of the season.
