The Florida Panthers have signed right wing Jesse Puljujarvi off waivers to a one-year, two-way contract. Puljujarvi was placed on waivers by the Penguins last month after they demoted him to the AHL. Through 26 games in Pittsburgh this season, Puljujarvi has found the back of the net three times and added six helpers. He had logged an impressive 45 hits with 38 shots on goal. Last season, Puljujarvi appeared in 22 games with the Penguins and scored three goals and added just one helper. The former fourth overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft has never lived up to expectations, as his career-high in points is just 36, which came during the 2021 season. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should continue to monitor his status but should not expect him to carry much fantasy value, as he may not see consistent opportunities in the Florida lineup.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
