Jazz Chisholm 2021 Outlook: Flashes Of Potential Could Develop
3 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop/second baseman Jazz Chisholm is expected to have a chance to win a starting job in Spring Training. Chisholm showed some promising signs in the shortened 2020 season, but it was a disappointing year overall, as he showed he likely needs more minor league seasoning. In 21 games, Chisholm slashed just .161/.242/.321 with two home runs and two stolen bases. If he reaches his potential, Chisholm could be a yearly 20/20 player with the potential for way more power. He needs to swing and miss much less often to develop any kind of consistency though. For 2021, Chisholm is a solid dynasty and keeper asset, but his redraft value will depend entirely on whether or not he wins a starting job out of camp. He'll likely start in Triple-A otherwise.
