2 years agoUniversity of Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter returned to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Thursday to finish his interviews, measurements and other activities, according to a source. Carter was arrested on Wednesday on charges of reckless driving and racing in connection with a crash that killed one of his teammates and a recruiting staff member. He is one of the top prospects in next month's NFL draft and is even a candidate to be taken with the first overall pick. Carter released a statement on Wednesday saying that he expected to be "fully exonerated of any criminal wrongdoing." It remains to be seen if this serious off-the-field incident will cause Carter's draft stock to fall at the end of April.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
