Jake Burger Exits Early on Friday
Jake Burger (side) was forced to make an early exit from Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Burger appeared to grab his side after striking out in the seventh inning. He was pulled from the contest after that due to left side tightness. The expectation is that Burger will undergo further evaluation before the team gives more information on his status. For now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day until more info is revealed. Burger went 1-for-4 at the plate before being lifted for Ezequiel Duran. Possibly, Duran sees more time at first base if Burger is forced to miss time.
