Jaguars Not Expected To Extend Cam Robinson
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are not expected to reach a long-term contract extension with franchise-tagged offensive tackle Cam Robinson by the deadline on Thursday, according to a source. Robinson will play the 2021 season on the $13.754 million franchise tag. Robinson played a full season for the first time in his four seasons with Jacksonville in 2020 and allowed just five sacks. The Jaguars want to see more from the 25-year-old this season before they approach him with a contract extension. Protecting rookie franchise signal-caller Trevor Lawrence will be priority No. 1 this year.
