Jaguars Listening To Calls For Brian Thomas Jr.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are listening to calls about a potential trade for wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., even if a move is highly unlikely, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. It's been a disappointing season for Thomas after a historic rookie campaign, when he recorded 87 receptions for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns on 133 targets. In seven games this season, he's caught just 27 of his 55 targets for 365 yards with two total touchdowns and has yet to have a 100-yard performance after doing so four times as a rookie. The 23-year-old looks like he has been playing with a banged-up wrist and recently picked up a shoulder injury in Week 7, but it's been a frustrating year regardless. Rookie Travis Hunter saw a big boost in targets last week as a result of his struggles, and his fantasy stock would skyrocket if Thomas is dealt, although it seems unlikely.
