New York Rangers right wing Matt Rempe (upper body) suffered an injury during a fight with San Jose Sharks forward Ryan Reaves on Thursday. The two came to blows less than six minutes into the game after Rempe had spent just 19 seconds on the ice during his first shift. Following the contest, Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan told reporters that Rempe was being evaluated for an upper-body injury. This was Rempe's first fight of the season. In nine outings this campaign, he has recorded seven penalty minutes with one assist and 30 hits.--Taavi Pailk
