St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) advanced to throwing off flat ground from 240 feet on Wednesday. He continues to progress in his recovery from right shoulder inflammation and could throw off a mound soon. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since the beginning of Spring Training and is still ways away from returning to action.
