Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that defensive end J.J. Watt (calf) is day-to-day with a calf injury. He wasn't able to practice on Wednesday. Watt is now 33 years old and is becoming a big injury concern for fantasy managers in IDP leagues. He managed to play in only seven regular season games in 2021 due to a serious shoulder injury and also played in just eight games in his second-to-last season with the Houston Texans in 2019. The five-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler could still end up playing in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he's no longer reliable as a starting defensive lineman in IDP fantasy formats. The Cardinals defense/special teams should be avoided in a tough Week 1 meeting with the Chiefs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
