Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy returned in Week 9 from an ankle injury that had sidelined him for five games and led his team to a massive victory on the road over the division rival Detroit Lions. McCarthy completed 14 of 25 pass attempts for 143 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, adding 12 yards and a touchdown on nine rush attempts. While it was not the most efficient day for McCarthy from a yardage perspective, the 22-year-old showed flashes of his ability to pilot a productive NFL offense. McCarthy's ability to make plays with his legs also bodes well for his fantasy upside. The Vikings will host the resurgent Baltimore Ravens in Week 10.--Will Brady
