Los Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson (ankle) underwent ankle surgery on Tuesday and will be out for two to four weeks, according to the team. Jackson underwent a minor scope, but there's still a good chance he won't be ready for Week 1 of the regular season opener, and Week 2 could be out of the question as well with the Bolts playing on Thursday night that week. Combined with safety Derwin James, the 26-year-old will be part of one of the strongest overall defenses in the NFL in his first year in LA. In his final year in New England, Jackson finished with a career-high 58 tackles (44 solo), eight interceptions (one for a touchdown), a league-high 23 passes defensed and one forced fumble in his first Pro Bowl season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
