Harrison Bader Still Out on Friday
Harrison Bader (finger) remains sidelined for Friday's series opener in Seattle against the Mariners at T-Mobile Park. Kody Clemens is starting in right field for the Twins and will hit seventh against Mariners right-hander Bryan Wood. Bader will be missing his fourth straight start, but the good news for Minnesota is that Byron Buxton (concussion) is back from the injured list and is starting in center field. If Bader is unable to make it back this weekend in Seattle, there's a chance the Twins could consider putting him on the 10-day injured list. In addition to his solid glove in the outfield, the 30-year-old has been a pleasant surprise with the bat, too, hitting .276/.359/.433 with a .792 OPS, five home runs, 21 RBI, 18 runs and six steals in 134 at-bats. Clemens has also been a surprise offensively, slashing .304/.391/.696 with five homers and 12 RBI in his 22 games with the Twins.
