Gus Edwards Continues To Hold Flex Value In Week 17
12 months agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards was expected to resume his role as the lead back after Keaton Mitchell (knee) went down, but he ended up taking a backseat to Justice Hill in Week 16. Edwards remains the go-to red zone option when it comes to the backfield which still gives him some fantasy value as a boom-or-bust option, but he doesn't consistently rack up yards on the ground. In Week 17, he'll take on the Miami Dolphins defense who ranks fifth against opposing backfields. Since Week 11, they've given up the second-fewest rushing yards per game which doesn't bode well for Edwards who already averages just 46.3 yards per game. He can be considered a boom-or-bust flex option.
