Gregory Soto Records His 10th Save On Thursday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Gregory Soto earned his 10th saves of the year on Thursday as he closed out the team's 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins. Soto only needed 11 pitches to get through the ninth inning, retiring each of the three batters he faced. The 27-year-old is now 10-for-11 in save chances on the year with a 2.04 ERA. He had some shaky outings in early May, but he's now gone 8 2/3 consecutive innings without allowing a run.
