Cleveland Browns rookie safety Grant Delpit (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles in practice on Monday, an MRI exam confirmed. Cleveland's initial fears became a reality after the second-round pick underwent testing Monday. Delpit will now miss his entire rookie season. It's a blow to the team's secondary, as the former star defensive back at LSU was slated to be the Browns starting free safety in 2020 next to strong safety Karl Joseph. The 21-year-old could become useful in IDP leagues as early as 2021 for his ability to play near the line of scrimmage and stop an opponent's running game. Andrew Sendejo could become Cleveland's starter at free safety with Delpit out for the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
