Giants Use No. 10 Pick On Arizona State's Hunter Bishop
6 years agoThe San Francisco Giants selected Arizona State outfielder Hunter Bishop with the 10th overall selection in the 2019 Major League Baseball First-Year Draft on Monday. Bishop attended high school at Serra High in San Mateo, Calif. He posted 22 home runs with a team-best 1.239 OPS during his junior season with the Sun Devils. They also selected Louisville first baseman Logan Wyatt with the No. 51 overall selection. Bishop and Wyatt will join catching prospect Joey Bart in a Giants farm system which is restocked for the future.
