The New York Giants are planning to retain respected defensive coordinator Patrick Graham for head coach Brian Daboll's new coaching staff if Graham doesn't secure a head-coaching job elsewhere, according to sources. Graham has already interviewed for the Minnesota Vikings head-coaching job and is still in the running. He has been the team's defensive coordinator the last two years and has a working relationship with Daboll from their time together with the New England Patriots from 2013-15. The Giants defense was ranked 12th in the league in 2020 under Graham and was 21st in 2021.
