George Springer To Remain Out On Friday
George Springer (forearm) will remain sidelined on Friday as the team opens up a three-game series against his former team, the Houston Astros. Springer was hit in his arm by a pitch during Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. X-rays came back negative for him and the expectation is that he will be back soon. Speaking to the media before Friday's game, Springer stated the he hoped to return to the lineup on Saturday. Raimel Tapia will be leading off once again on Friday while Bradley Zimmer will continue to patrol center field.
