Garrett Wilson Considered Day-to-Day
Garrett Wilson (knee) is considered day-to-day, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. Wilson suffered a hyperextended knee in the Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos in London and did not suit up in Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers. The 25-year-old appears to have a shot at returning this weekend when the Jets square off against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it will likely come down to how much he can do at practice this week. Wilson is the team's clear No. 1 receiver and has 56 targets through six games played, so the Jets desperately need him back with the team expected to give veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor his first start of the year in Week 8. Wilson's fantasy ceiling has been low in New York's struggling passing attack, and it's unlikely that Taylor will be much of an improvement. If Wilson sits out again this weekend, Josh Reynolds will again serve as the Jets' WR1.
