Eduardo Rodriguez Posts Bittersweet Start Wednesday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez spanned six innings, allowing five runs, on nine hits, while striking out a season-high 10 batters, and walking just one in a no decision against the Rockies Wednesday. The high strikeout total is wonderful to see from the 26-year-old, but a three-run seventh inning cost Rodriguez a quality start. A positive is that he has not allowed a home run in five straight starts. He's now 4-2 with a 4.89 ERA but boasts a near 26 K% with just a 7 BB%. He'll look to limit a big inning in his next time out against the Blue Jays on Monday.
