Easton Stick Takes Over In Week 14 Loss
1 year agoLos Angeles backup quarterback Easton Stick took over in a Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos. Starter Justin Herbert (finger) was injured in the second quarter and was unable to return. Stick ended up attempting 24 passes, completing 13 of them for 179 yards. He took two sacks, losing 31 yards. He led the only Chargers touchdown drive of the game in the fourth quarter, but it was mostly a performance marred by overthrows and poor footwork in the pocket. With Herbert doubtful at best on a short week, Stick is likely to start on Thursday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders. It will be a good week to start the Raiders defense in fantasy leagues.
