Dylan Bundy With Nice Spring Debut
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Dylan Bundy picked up right where he left off from last year's breakout season, as he tossed two scoreless innings against the Rangers in his spring debut on Wednesday. Bundy had a 3.29 ERA in 11 starts in his first season with the Angels in the shortened 2020 season, and he didn't give up a hit after walking the first batter he faced against Texas. The right-hander threw just 28 pitches in his two frames and went to the bullpen after his outing to get some more work in. "I came out of there healthy, body felt good, arm felt good, stuff was spinning the way I wanted to," Bundy said. The 28-year-old can get in trouble with his fastball if he uses it too much, but his excellent slider and improved offspeed pitches helped him to a career-best 27 percent strikeout rate last year. Target him as a solid SP3 in fantasy.
