Drew Lock Not As Sharp In Second Preseason Game
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock had an uneven performance in the second preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks last Saturday, going nine of 14 for 80 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Lock entered the game in the second quarter after Teddy Bridgewater got the start. He was sacked two times in the game and recovered two of his own fumbles. It's unclear where the QB competition stands after Bridgewater looked better against Seattle, and neither signal-caller may see game action in the final preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend. Lock has more arm strength than Bridgewater but has been too inconsistent and turnover-prone in his time in the NFL. If he does end up winning the competition, he'll only be relevant as a QB2 in deeper leagues.
